CfM2: Burying Martian Habitats with Regolith

Drag lines are used to scoop loose soil to bury habitats for protection from solar and cosmic radiation which thin Martian air and weak magnetic field do not provide. Designed during a Mission design workshop during the "Case for Mars 2" conference in Boulder, Colorado, USA, July 1984.
