Many ways to interpret this. My first impression was of a father and daughter returning from a particularly tiring EVA, with him too tired to take off his pressure suit immediately. One of my favorite images because I imagine it implies there will be hard work, but also a new generation of people growing up in space (-BAM). Of course, they are more likely wife and husband crew members.
